New Arrivals: TWSBI ECO Fluorite Purple + Bronze, and New OnionBrand A5 Leather Notebook Covers!

The new TWSBI ECO Fluorite Purple + Bronze is finally here and available for pre-order! This latest TWSBI release features a swirled purple, pink and white acrylic paired with TWSBI’s bronze trim, and is available in all nib sizes. Per TWSBI’s release schedule, pens are currently in-stock and orders will begin shipping Friday, May 29. Due to high demand and relatively small initial retailer allocations, if you are looking to pick up a pen in-store, we recommend placing an online order and selecting “in-store pickup” at checkout, as we cannot guarantee there will be pens available when the Nashville store opens on Thursday. As a reminder, please do not come to pick up your order until you have received an e-mail letting you know that it’s available.

We also have a small batch of the OnionBrand A5 leather notebook covers in the “Olde Walnut” finish. These cord-based notebook covers sold out very quickly last week, and more are in-progress. For those unfamiliar with the brand, OnionBrand is a local maker in the Nashville area, whose goods I have featured in-store but now has enough of a production setup that I can offer them for sale online. Stay tuned as additional colors and models come online.

New Arrivals: TWSBI ECO Rootbeer + Bronze Pre-orders, Plus a Craft Design Technology Restock!

The latest TWSBI ECO has landed: “Rootbeer” pairs transparent brown acrylic with TWSBI’s popular bronze trim. After a run of solid colors, it’s nice to see a transparent release, as the bronze-trim versions have been among the most popular of the ECO fountain pens. These pens are available for pre-order starting today (4/28), and the pens will begin shipping Thursday, April 30.

Craft Design Technology Products Have Been Restocked, Plus New Arrivals!

Tokyo-based design house Craft Design Technology specializes in re-envisioning classic stationery products with their own aesthetic, including pens like the Zebra Sharbo-X multi pen, the Pentel Sharp Kerry, Pentel Sign Pen, and the Pilot Frixion 3 Multi Pen. In addition to these excellent writing instruments, CDT has become known for their mint green notepads, memo rolls, and other unique paper products. Most recently, CDT announced a series of Pilot Frixion Highlighters, sold individually or in sets of three, along with a special NJK long-point pencil sharpener featuring their own design scheme!

We will be open normal hours this week in our Nashville shop, from 1-6pm Thursday and Friday, and from 10am-6pm Saturday. Stop by to see these and more in-person!

New Arrivals: TWSBI ECO "Serpentine Bronze" Pre-Orders Are Live; Pens to Ship This Week

TWSBI’s latest release is the second ECO in their mixed-color series, “Serpentine Bronze.” This new pen features a gorgeous mix of green and bronze/gold acrylic paired with TWSBI’s bronze-tone trim. Colors are mixed during the injection molding process, so no two pens will be the same and each will feature its own unique pattern of swirls. The Serpentine Bronze ECOs are priced at $51.99, and available for pre-order today. They should arrive this week and will begin shipping immediately. If you missed out on the first round of mixed-color ECOs, we have the “Amazonite” green and white version in stock as well. New Arrivals: Anderillium Moray Eel Green and Whale Shark Grey, Plus a First Look at the New TWSBI ECO!

After having paused their new releases for a bit, Anderillium is back with the new “Ichthyoformes” Series (inspired by fish). Two colors are currently available: Moray Eel Green and Whale Shark Grey, which are a golden green and blue-grey, respectively. I’ve swatched both inks and, personally, favor the Moray Eel simply because it’s so unusual, but I do enjoy greys as well! We have also restocked on my favorite Anderillium Green-Blacks like Colossal Squid Dark and Green Kingfisher Green.

TWSBI ECO Slate Blue + Onyx: Real-Life Photos Now Available

By the way, Whale Shark Grey is what I’d consider a perfect match for the new TWSBI ECO in Slate Blue + Onyx fountain pen, which arrived yesterday and already has begun shipping out to pre-orders. I can’t decide whether the pen leans more grey or blue, and sometimes I even see purple undertones depending on how the light hits it? Anyway, I really like ambiguous colors, and this one checks that box. Eventually I plan to add one to my collection. We’ve also generally restocked on TWSBI, including the Bronze-trimmed “Breakfast Collection.”

The slate blue matches the onyx trim better than the green, but that’s just me.

TWSBI’s latest release, an ECO fountain pen in Irish Green acrylic with new onyx black plated trim, has arrived and is shipping! TWSBI has really experimented with their trim this year, including not only the new onyx black but also bronze and additional rose gold models. Initial Store Hours Are Set!

I’m happy to announce that this week, the shop is open with official hours! To start, we will be open Fridays from 1-7pm, and Saturdays from 11am-6pm. Tuesdays and Thursdays will be by appointment, and Sunday and Monday we will be closed. Outside of the regular Friday-Saturday hours, please reach out through the “Contact” form on the site and I will get in touch to set a time when you can visit. Eventually we will have an online appointment system and/or a telephone number, and hopefully additional open days as we get established.
