Traveler's Notebook 2022 Diaries Are Now Available!

Traveler’s Notebook 2022 Dated Diaries/Planners have now arrived in the shop! This year I ordered five different formats: Standard Size Monthly, Weekly Vertical, and Weekly + Memo, as well as Passport Size Monthly and Weekly layouts. We’ve also gone ahead and reduced the remaining limited stock of 2021 second-half planners to 50% off - you can still get 3 months worth of planning out of these to tide you over until the 2022 version kicks in!

We are also fully stocked on Traveler’s Notebook covers in all colors, as well as standard refills and accessories, including undated planners for those who prefer less structure.

Restock Tuesday! M+R Brass Sharpeners Are Back in Stock (Castor, Pollux, and Refill Blades)

After a long period on backorder, I now have all M+R brass pencil sharpeners in stock in quantity, including the long-point Castor and Pollux sharpeners and the Brass Lead Pointer (which can put a mean point on a Caran d’Ache Fixpencil)! Refill blades are also available for both long-point and standard sharpeners.

If you’d like to read more on what these high-quality sharpeners are capable of, I wrote a blog post a while back doing a comparison of the various pencil points. M+R Sharpeners are among my favorite pieces of stationery kit, and I almost always have one or more with me in my work bag or sitting on my desk.

Restock Tuesday! Clairefontaine French-Ruled Paper, Washi Tape, and Enamel Pins!

Yesterday I received a fresh shipment of Clairefontaine French-ruled paper, which should be a relief for those of you who have been asking for a restock. I currently have Clothbound, Stablebound, and Wirebound notebooks all ready to ship, in addition to more Quo Vadis Habanas, which feature Clairefontaine dot grid paper. I’m also happy to introduce a new round of select washi tapes from iLootPaperie, as well as a new snail mail-themed enamel pin that you can proudly wear to show your love for written correspondence and the postal service! Introducing Maruman Mnemosyne Notebooks

I’m pleased to announce that the TGS Curated Shop now stocks Maruman’s fabulous Mnemosyne notebooks, which not only feature fountain pen friendly paper, but a highly durable, laminate cover + spiral binding and best of all, perforated pages. One of the big drawbacks to many spiral notebooks is the inability to cleanly tear out sheets that you might want to save (or destroy) separately from the main notebook. Maruman solves this problem by adding perforations, a feature I wish others would incorporate. We currently stock Mnemosyne notebooks in A4 and A5 sizes, in lined, grid, and dot grid rulings. Please note that the grid notebooks are landscape notebooks, with the spiral binding across the top of the page and the ruling on one side.

And A Note on the Dallas Pen Show

Finally, a bit of bad news. Due to work staffing issues, I will be unable to attend the Dallas Pen Show this coming weekend. I know, I’m disappointed too, but stay tuned for some special surprises this coming weekend as I promise to make it up! As of now, Chicago is still on the calendar for next week.

Introducing the TWSBI Diamond 580 ALR in Navy Blue (Available Now)

TWSBI has been on a roll this year, from the Diamond 580 ALR in Prussian Blue to the recently released TWSBI Swipe cartridge/converter fountain pen. Last week, they added the Diamond 580 ALR in Navy Blue, which is a gorgeous deep blue anodized finish that I find can appear quite different depending on the lighting. In some instances it’s a dark navy, in others, a brighter cobalt or even ultramarine!
